Arm lifts can be done awake or under general anesthesia. The type of anesthesia will be discussed with you, prior to the arm lift. Regardless of what option is utilized, you can rest assured that you will be totally comfortable and pain-free throughout the procedure. After you have been anesthetized, Dr. Yovino will remove the skin and excess fat from underneath your arms as discussed with you during your consultation and the day of surgery. After tightening and reshaping the underlying tissues, Dr. Yovino will smooth the remaining skin over your newly contoured arm.
