Medical Grade Skin Peels
Are you bothered by skin flaws like hyperpigmentation, acne scars, or undesirable skin texture? If you are looking for a non-invasive, non-surgical way to illuminate your complexion and refine tone and texture, Ideal Face and Body offers medical grade skin peels to safely and effectively rejuvenate the skin.
Designed for patients who want noticeable skin renewal without extensive downtime, VI Peels at Ideal Face & Body in Beverly Hills offer a powerful yet gentle approach to improving overall skin quality. This medical-grade chemical peel is a popular choice for individuals seeking brighter, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin through a safe, results-driven treatment performed by experienced aesthetic providers.
The VI Peel works by penetrating the skin to stimulate cellular turnover and collagen production, helping to shed damaged surface layers while encouraging healthy new skin growth. Ideal Face & Body utilizes VI Peels to address a wide range of concerns, including fine lines, sun damage, uneven texture, hyperpigmentation, acne, and acne scarring. Because the peel is formulated to be effective on all skin types and tones, it is a versatile option for many Beverly Hills patients looking to refresh their complexion.
One of the most appealing aspects of the VI Peel is its balance of dramatic results with minimal discomfort and downtime. Patients typically experience mild tingling during application followed by visible peeling over several days as the skin renews itself. At Ideal Face & Body, each treatment is customized based on the patient’s skin goals, with expert guidance on post-peel care to maximize results and protect the skin. With proper maintenance, VI Peels can deliver long-lasting improvements in clarity, tone, and overall skin health.
VI Peel is effective for improving a wide range of skin concerns, including:

What to expect?
Medical grade skin peels are applied in our Beverly Hills office. We offer several different brands, strengths, and booster options to best suit your aesthetic goals. We will help you determine which peel is right for you.
The peel comes in liquid form, and is applied to the treatment area of your choice. After about 2 days, you will notice your skin begin to peel. This is a painless process, and looks similar to a peeling sunburn. After 5-7 days, most patients are fully recovered and enjoying their results!
Is there any downtime?
Medical grade skin peels take 5-7 days to complete. Until the peel is complete, you are advised to avoid activities that draw heat into the skin, such as using a jacuzzi, taking a steaming hot shower, and strenuous exercise.
You will also be required to avoid sun exposure as much as possible. Mineral-based sunscreen containing only zinc and titanium is necessary during this period.
What is in the peel formula?
Medical grade skin peels are formulated with effective ingredients to counteract common skin flaws and signs of aging. Examples include:
- TCA (Trichloroacetic acid)
- Retinoic acid
- Salicylic acid
- Kojic acid
- Phenol
- Vitamin C
- Glutathione
- Lactic acid
- Resorcinol
- Mandelic acid
- Malic acid
- Phytic acid
Ingredients may vary depending on the brand and strength of the peel you select, so be sure to ask at your consultation if you would like to know more information about the ingredients in your peel formula!
How many Medical Grade Skin Peel treatments will I need?
Many patients are satisfied with the improvement in their skin after a single treatment. However, some patients with more significant skin concerns (such as melasma or severe acne) may see a better result from 2-3 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart. Our team will devise a treatment plan to best accommodate your aesthetic needs during your consultation.
How long will my results last after a Medical Grade Skin Peel rejuvenation?
Results from Medical Grade Skin Peels can last all year round if followed with a consistent, medical-grade skin care routine, and regular use of sun protection. However, as with all cosmetic treatments, results will vary from person to person.
